Learning to roller skate can be a bit overwhelming and even scary at first, but with a bit of practice, good instruction, and positive reinforcement, you’ll be a pro in no time.
I recognize that every skater has a unique learning style and do my very best to personalize each lesson for your goals, personality, and skill level. I’m the only certified roller skating instructor in Jacksonville, Florida, and have experience working with thousands of skaters in numerous countries over the years.
Private Lessons
Want to get better at skating fast? Private lessons are the way to go. I’ll happily give you one-on-one guidance to perfect your moves and learn any skills you’d like! My rates are listed below.
- $30 per 30 minutes for up to 3 hour blocks of time

Private Group Lessons
Have a group of friends, coworkers, or family members wanting to learn how to roller skate in Jacksonville, Florida? I offer roller skating lessons for both large and small groups at all levels and ages! Blades and roller skates are welcome.
Group classes can include beginner to advanced-level skills, drills, and moves, including:
- How to skate forward & backward
- Balance techniques
- Roller dance moves and/or choreography
- Cross overs
- Transitions
- How to stop (along with variations)
- Roller skate maintenance
- Falling safely & tricks to prevent falling
Public Group Lessons – Every Thursday
Beginning on March 5th, Skate Station Mandarin will be offering adult skating lessons (ages 16+) for all levels!
Lessons will be every Thursday from 7:30 to 8 p.m. and will cost $15. This cost covers rental skates, two professional instructors, and admission to the adult skating session from 8-10:30. We’ll cover anything that you want to learn, from the basics to spins and fun dance moves.
